Logo Policy

- WYD 2008 ACN 118 060 987 as trustee for the World Youth Day 2008 Trust ABN 73 422 698 032 (WYD 2008) is the owner of the World Youth Day 2008 logo trade mark (Logo) to be used in connection with World Youth Day 2008, and as such, WYD 2008's intellectual property rights in the Logo are protected in Australia and internationally and use of the Logo for any purpose without approval is illegal.

Logo Rules of Use
- Any Church Recognised Organisation approved by WYD 2008 to use or display the Logo for communications or fund raising purposes to promote World Youth Day 2008:a. acknowledges that it has no right, title or interest in the Logo;b. must not use the Logo for any purposes unrelated to World Youth Day 2008;c. must use any commercial benefit it receives from its fund raising activities to promote or support World Youth Day 2008, andd. must ensure that it does not engage in any activity that is contrary to the requirements, principles and standards that are set out in the WYD 2008
Code of Ethics

- WYD 2008 reserves the right to at any time in its absolute discretion to:a. revoke any approval given in relation to an organisation's use of the logo;b. withdraw or invalidate any WYD08 fundraiser code, andc. remove or destroy or require the removal or destruction of any materials displaying the logo produced at any time by any person or organisation.
