Applications should be submitted through the WYD08 website
WYD08 staff will review applications and then arrange telephone interviews with the contact person for each animating team. A translator will be arranged by WYD08 where necessary. These interviews should be no longer than 30 minutes.
The contact person for each animating team will be notified whether the team has been appointed or not
All teams will be notified of their appointment or otherwise by March 2008.
Training materials will be made available to the animating teams via Email or other electronic means by the end of February 2008
Each Australian and New Zealand animating team will attend a one day training workshop during April and May 2008. It is proposed that one workshop will be held in each of the following locations:
Every capital city in Australia
Several regional areas in Australia
The North and South Islands of New Zealand
The exact locations will be determined based on the geographical distribution of the appointed teams in order to minimise travel costs for the animating team members.
All members of all animating teams will attend a final briefing on Tuesday 15 July 2008
If you are NOT from Australia, New Zealand or from another English speaking country of Oceania:
Animating teams will be arranged by the Pontifical Council for the Laity. Please do NOT apply on our website.
